Holger Dietze is a doctor of optometry and opticians and has been head of the bachelor's degree program in optometry at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin since 2014.
Holger Dietze is an ophthalmic optician and optometrist with a doctoral degree. He was appointed Professor of Physiological Optics and Optometry at the Beuth Hochschule für Technik, Berlin in 2005 and has been in charge of the university's Bachelor program in ophthalmic optics and optometry since 2014. He is the editor and chief author of two text books, 'Die optometrische Untersuchung' and 'Ophthalmoskopie', and a member of the scientific committee of Zentralverband der Augenoptiker und Optometristen (ZVA) Germany and of the European Academy of Optometry and Optics. He was appointed an honorary member of Wissenschaftliche Vereinigung für Augenoptik und Optometrie (WVAO) in 2018 and has been a Board member of Gütegemeinschaft Optometrische Leistungen since 2019.
