Michel Guillon is the Clinical Director of OCULAR TECNOLOGY GROUP – International, Founder Partner of ThermaMEDx LLC and Visiting Professor in The School of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University.  He is a Past President of the International Society for Contact Lens Research and a current member of its Executive Committee, Past European President of the International Association of Contact Lens Educators, past Council Member of the British Contact Lens Association and of the British College of Optometrists and the recipient of the British Contact Lens Association Medal and of American Academy of Optometry Max Schapero Award.

Michel Guillon has presented over 150 papers or posters, published over 60 scientific papers and co-edited a major text book on contact lenses with Professor Montague Ruben.  He is a co-inventor on, thirty-one patents worldwide and his research activities cover a wide field of ophthalmic research, with emphasis on dry eye, contact lenses, vision measurement and elite sport vision strategy.
